An update on the tree pollarding

As you may have noticed, the remaining trees along Castellain Road were not pollarded this week as originally planned. Our tree surgeons have been working hard, but progress has been a little slower than expected. To complete the job properly, they will require an additional day or two.

The good news is that this will take place in a couple of weeks, as our tree surgeons will be attending to urgent work at the Royal Hospital Chelsea but will return as soon as they are available to finish the job. They have also asked us to pass on their apologies for the delay.

On a more positive note, the wood from the trimmed trees has already been put to excellent use by our gardeners, helping to refresh some of our woodland paths and providing extra ground cover for the smaller trees.
